Pel & Co. Custom Design Terms & Agreement
At Pel & Co., every custom piece is thoughtfully crafted through a collaborative design process to ensure your jewelry matches the design you approved. We are honored to be part of creating something so personal and meaningful for you. By proceeding with a custom order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Custom Design Process
Pel & Co. will work closely with you throughout the design journey. This includes:
- Reviewing your ideas, references, or inspiration
- Recommending gemstone and diamond options
- Creating CAD models and/or renders
- Making revisions based on your feedback
Our goal is to bring your vision to life with clarity and craftsmanship.
2. Final Design Approval
Before production begins, you will receive a Final Design Approval that includes:
- Finalized CAD images or renders
- Metal selection
- Stone shapes, sizes, and specifications
- Structural design details
Production begins only after you approve the final design.
Your approval confirms that the design accurately reflects your vision.
3. What We Guarantee
Once approved, Pel & Co. guarantees to create a custom piece that aligns with:
- The final CAD design
- The materials and specifications agreed upon
- The craftsmanship standards of Pel & Co.
Your piece will be crafted in our U.S. workshop with precision and care.
4. Handmade Variations
Because each piece is individually handcrafted, slight natural variations may occur, including:
- Minor differences within industry-standard tolerances
- Gemstone variations
- Subtle handmade characteristics
These variations are normal and do not affect the quality or integrity of the design.
5. Craftsmanship Warranty
All custom Pel & Co. pieces include a Craftsmanship Warranty, which covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Structural issues
- Setting defects
- Craftsmanship-related problems
If an issue falls under craftsmanship, Pel & Co. will repair it at no cost.
6. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by impact, force, or misuse
- Stone loss not related to craftsmanship
- Deep scratches, dents, or bending from daily wear
- Repairs or alterations performed by another jeweler
For safety, we always recommend bringing your piece back to us for maintenance or repairs.
7. Payment Terms
A non-refundable design deposit is required to begin the custom design process.
Once the final design is approved, production begins and the remaining balance is due prior to shipping.
8. Timeline
Custom production timelines vary depending on complexity.
An estimated delivery timeframe will be provided after design approval.
9. Customer Responsibility
By approving the final design, you acknowledge that:
- The CAD accurately represents your requested design
- Any changes after approval may incur additional costs
- You have reviewed stone sizes, proportions, and details carefully before giving approval
10. Our Shared Commitment
Custom jewelry is a partnership.
Your role is to review and approve the design with care. Our role is to craft your piece with excellence, honoring the design you approved. Together, we create something meaningful - a piece made just for you.
