Find Your Ring Size

Find Your Ring Size

When investing in a custom ring, whether it’s an engagement ring, anniversary band, or heirloom piece, getting the right ring size is essential. A ring should feel comfortable, secure, and perfectly suited for everyday wear.

At Pel & Co., we want to ensure your custom ring fits flawlessly. This ring size guide will walk you through how to measure your ring size at home, common sizing mistakes to avoid, and expert tips for getting the best fit.

To get the most accurate ring size, use this simple guide.

How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

1. Cut a piece of string.

2. Wrap the string around your finger.

3. Mark the points where the ends meet.

4. Extend the string and measure the length. Find your size from the chart below.

Measure an Existing Ring

2. Measure the internal diameter of your ring (in mm).

3. Use the below chart to determine your ring size.

4. If your ideal fit falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

Common Ring Sizing Mistakes (and How to Avoid Them)

1. Measuring at the wrong time – Fingers tend to be larger in the evening and smaller in cold weather. Measure when your hands are at a normal temperature.

2. Choosing a size too tight or too loose – A well-fitted ring should slide on easily but require slight resistance to remove.

3. Ignoring knuckle size – If you have larger knuckles, choose a ring size that fits snugly but comfortably over the knuckle without being too loose on the base of the finger.

4. Guessing instead of measuring – Don’t rely on memory! Always measure before ordering a custom ring.
